I am wondering if you all that are against abortion would have abortion if:

1.You were raped
2.If your health/life was in danger of carrying the baby
3.If something terrible were wrong with the baby and would live a horrible life and have to suffer a terrible death

Answer honestly

1. If I was raped, having the baby would be fine with me. I'll show the child a life his/ her father could never have known and redeem the man who did it to me through the child.

2. Yes. I would. I can think about a million ways to say this, but the thing is, my death would only cause grief to more people than even I realize. Raising a child without a mother to look after her is hard and cruel.

3. The baby is dead either way. So why not show a bit of kindness and give her an extremely short life that gives her the opportunity abortion never could? I wouldnt abort her in any way. I'd support her all the way.

I really couldn't tell you unless I was actually IN one of those situations.

If I was raped I wouldn't have an abortion. The baby was put on the earth for a reason beyond my control. In my opinion every child is a blessing in some way.

The other two situations I don't know because I haven't been in those situations so I really coudn't tell you.

And no, a person doesn't have to either be for or against abortion. There are different situations that would cause a person to have various opinions on the subject.

Are you for or against pulling the plug on your parent's life support? It depends on the situation, right?

1. No, have the baby then take him to an adoption agency.
2. You wouldn't always need an abortion in this case, there are other
times when the abortion is needed, but if someones life was in danger, it would probably be done with a different method of surgery.
3. The chances of that are slim, but this depends on how long the baby will live and if the baby can become a knowledgable adult.

If you are raped: why not give the baby up for adoption there are so many people out there that can not have babies, it may be a horrible experience and something you may need counseling to get threw but think of how happy you could make some one else!!

If your health/life was in danger: if this is a tubal pregnancy yes get it taken care of you could die and the baby is not going to be able to grow without causing the mother problems

BUT if you knew that your health or life would be in danger beforee you conceived then you should of NEVER got pregnant and should of used some kind of birth control

qeustion # 3 is not something that they can tell YOU FOR SURE befor the baby is born so I would say take your chances

As you can tell I am AGAINST abortion and there are always other alternatives

If I was raped I would give the baby up for adoption, or maybe even keep it
If my health was in danger then if I died in the process than my baby would go to my mother or a close relative like my older sister
If something would be wrong with my baby I still wouldn't kill him/her
either way I would never hav an abortion because I feel that it is not my babys fault that it was conceived. So I would take whatever consciences of of my actions.

Well, I don't think you can ever say for sure unless you have actually had to make that choice. BUT, because of my faith and my beliefs, I would say that I am still firmly against abortion in any of those circumstances. I believe that God has everything in his hand and miracles still do happen! What if the doctors were wrong? What if todays medicine could get you through your danger? And in the case of rape, that baby growing inside of the mother is still a little life and gift from God! Everything, absolutely everything happens for a reason, HIS reason!

I would defintely have an abortion if i was raped as everytime i looked at that child, i would think of the rapist and probably resent the child...not to mention..the child looking half like the rapist. I would have an abortion, as well with your other 2 questions...why the hell would i want to die over a fetus..I can always have another one.My life comes first until i have the child then it's the childs life before mine.

Here we go again. I agree that in the case of rape, or where the mother's life is in danger, an abortion would be the right thing to do.

HOWEVER, the majority of abortions are people who don't want to be inconvienced by having a child. In my eyes, this is murder.

So, it's not as black and white as you say. It's not a case of "You're for it or you're against it"

If i was raped then I wouldn't. Punish the rapist not the baby!

If my life was in danger then I probably would have one but would be very sad that I would have to make that choice. I dont know if I would abort a baby if something was terribly wrong with him/her though. What if when they were born it wasn't as bad as what they had thought? That's something you just never know.

Its really hard to answer that question because 1) you were raped and you don't want to bring to this world a baby who is going to live through what you went through 2) You don't want to kill the baby because he/she didnt ask to come into this world and he has no fault in it whatsoever-- So its kinda hard to decide whether or not the baby should die or not __ Still the baby should not be aborted but still why would you bring him into this world and have him suffer-- Its everyone's decision on that one--
