is an audi tt haldex unit the same as on a golf 4motion?

both cars are 2002 models but my golfs playin up just wondered if there compatible

Yes they're "physically" the same, stick with a VW part though for warranty reasons. Also, no one knows for sure if the VW or Audi has minor differences that may cause problems when put in the wrong unit.
