Congress finally sent the legislation they passed to Bush to sign...when that happens, the fence will go into construction, and we'll start to see illegal immigration from Mexico start to abate.
Places like San Diego, where the fence has been put in, have already seen a huge reduction in the number of illegal aliens crossing over. Also, not all the illegal aliens that come to the US from Mexico ARE Mexican, either. It's a big problem, and the sooner Mexico starts to take it seriously, and the sooner our senators etc start pushing for good long-term policy on immigration in general, the better it'll be for all concerned.
If you think about it, had Mexico decided to dig in, and make good use of the help we've given them over the years, they'd have a lot more of their people employed, and there'd be no illegal immigration problem today. But, since they didn't, and since there is this illegal immigration pressure, well, there needs to be a disincentive. I think the fence is a great start, can't bribe a fence, hard to just walk through it, give people something to look at and think about, it's really a pretty good answer, a lot of people support the idea.
Support the US Border Patrol! They've got a hard job to do, they could use some public support...

The major cities throughout Mexico have considerable asian populations, specifically Chinese.
Cancun is not representative of the rest of Mexico as it is mostly tourist resorts.
There are some Europeans, Spanish and some eastern Europenas. But outside of Americans, Canadians and Cubans, the Chinese are the next most numerous immigrant group in Mexico. The Chinese probably even outnumber the Cubans now.

Did ya know that Mexico arrests Illegal Aliens? im not kidding either but they don't want America to do the same.
Also Mexico built a Wall at their border with Guatemala for the same reason Americans like me want a Wall at the U.S. - Mexico border (keeping out Illegal Aliens).
Turns out Mexico has a better Economy than Guatemala and El Salvador so people from those places were entering Mexico illegally.
