I think god is you, and me, and everything. God is not meant to be an image or something tangible, in which we can distort. God is just a word that implies more. How someone perceives that more to be is a subjective experience, and should not be questioned by anyone, hence "thou shall not judge"
I think god is with you now, even as you question because you know the differnce between right or wrong within our own heart, and you need no deity to worship, because you know that you with your own values will sculpt and manifest your own world,
which therefore makes you a god. I wish you well

My God gives me peace, comfort, and joy. He helps me face life with a positive spirit. He prompts me to pray for others. He does give me joy inside, and it is divine.

It is not about me or you so you should stop asking what God does for you. Know that he gave you life, gives you a new chance every day to perfect that life in his image and all he seeks from you is faith and a lifestyle that will enable your eventual salvation. God provides me with absolutely everything I could possibly desire. He leaves it up to me to become what he has created me for, if I fail, it is no reflection on him, just my fear.

When you ask Jesus into your heart, He comes into your being so you will express Him on earth. So my answer is my God is in my spirit living inside of me
