Ignored. Rejection is pretty much the way of life, everyone has to deal with it at some point and it just means "I'm not interested, move on" When you are being ingnored, many times you don't know why, you know they are aware of you being there but when they don't acknowledge you then you get the feeling they don't care.

Rejected is worse. Being ignored usually means you've hurt their feelings so to pay you back they ignore you. Rejection is just rejection.

They both are closely related. If you are being ignored, you are being rejected, and vise versa. Neither of the two would be my best friend in a relationship.
