But the Bible is the revelation of earthly things. Does Bible rules serve for all worlds? Do they have their own ET God? Is it the same or doesn't Jehova care about them? He must have contacted them at some point in time. Maybe He also had a chosen people or sent Jesus there to save them.

Such a revelation would change religion forever, and add powerfully to the forces already combatting it. But who needs extraterrestrials when we have zombi dogs?

Billy Graham would find a second wind and do a Crusade there.

The Catholics would start a rocket program and send out missionaries.

The 700 Club would eventually be exported by sub space transmissions.

The Mormons would think heaven has finally been found and they have a new place to hide second wives.

And strange looking, horrendous, weird Avatars would turn to to be professional portraits taken of those aliens who are here to bash the illegal alien invasion from the Earth!

The Arabs would export terrorists there to remove the Zionist menace from that world, because it belongs to them and Allah and the Zionists should be removed to a infidel place more approriate like Awschwitz or Nebraska.

Zen Monks would go to the higest mountain there with 3 grapes and still have to face crazy teenagers climbing to ask them "hey, dudes, what's it all about, like, dude, I really want to know the secrets of life, man!"

Sacha Barron Cohen would take a camera crew there and come back with a Borat sequel.

Oliver Stone would say the US alien conspiracy will finally be uncovered.

What did you THINK would happen!

Do you NOT understand human nature!

You will find that we do not allow any species to leave their own star system until they have evolved beyond the need for god concepts. Earth really doesn't have to worry about that though. Over the centuries, your planet was a curious place to visit once or twice and was not considered very interesting . Sure, your wars showed us how undeveloped you are as a species and your infantile,(in cosmic terms) dependence on god concepts does not bode well for you. We are now showing an interest in you because it is not often that we get to observe a species commit suicide. You are so close to maturing as a sentient species and it will be a shame to see you kill yourselves. There are just not enough of you becoming rational enough to force the issue. You let the least among you determine your fate, so be it.

I don't think it would in any major way. I have not heard of any religion that preaches that life does not exist on other planets. I know many Christians do not believe that there is life on other planets. I'm not sure if that is just a majority of their personal opinions or if it is a religious beliefs but I don't see how life on other planets would affect or contradict their beliefs.

religion often clings to archaic interpretations of core teachings
when life is discovered elsewhere in the galaxy
religion will be faced with philisophical questions that hopefully should cut some of the outdated interpretations of the teachings free
and help modernise the ideas into ones reflective of the truely universal and cosmic truths that the originators origionally pointed towards

My religion or beliefs wouldn't. " in the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth '' I think just because The Bible says that, doesn't mean there is no life elsewhere. His message was for us, about us. In the beginning, heavens and earth, so lets talk about my plans for earth........... Just like Evolution, ( no, I don't think we came from monkeys ) there is too much out there to assume that we are '' it ''. There is too much evidence of species evolving and we can see things in outer space that are LIGHT YEARS away. Space is vast. What a waste if in all of space, we are it ?

God never said we were the only planet with life. I hope if He did make another planet, that the people there would be more accepting of Him and not question everything He says like we do

Since I follow Jesus and not religion,I wouldn't have a problem with it but I would say religious people or others might.I would say that aliens to us would bring the message that Jesus has for us.
It is impossible for me to believe that we are alone.Jesus is Lord of Heaven and Earth. The Heavens are where there are other planets.

They'll make up some crap that God moved on to other planets after ours bla bla bla.

You can't sway them.

There's already irrefutable proof living bacteria and possibly one-celled organs lived on Mars...

The same thing that religion does every time it is proven wrong by science: either search the entire texts of the bible until it finds a vague enough phrase that explains it, or blame it on the wily trickery of Satan.
