When I come to this sight to get an answer to a question, I usually have a second window open up, so I can see my replies, when they come in.OK now, when I get my answeres, and leave that second window, the first and origional window, is froze up solid.
Esc or ctrl/alt/del do nothing at all. I have to do a complete warm reboot to get going again. Just this part of Yahoo IM seems to do this. any ideas? Duster

I have only two suggestions for you, because you don't say what platform that you have or what version of IE explorer you use.

If you are using IE6, you need to stay upto date and download the final new version of IE7. Both beta tests are complete and this is the new version below. Open the link or copy and paste and download. Plus you must also have all your Microsoft critcal updates that come out every second Tuesday of each month installed. Otherwise you are going to have problems as Microsoft usually does not support old versions of platforms or IE6 anymore.

If you are running Windows XP Prof., download from the link the SP 2 package for IE7 as Microsoft does not support SP1 anymore.

I use Windows XP Prof., an I did not have to remove my old two IE7 beta versions. When you download the final version with the link below, Microsoft will remove the old version for you and you will have to reboot. After you reboot your entire monitor will be blank. You will only have the wizard to install the new IE7, don't worry, because after the installation you will get back your entire monitor with all your icons.

This should resolve your problem.

Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. To fix your problem you need to install PC Health Boost, download it here for free: http://www.getpchealthboost.com

It's very light and it's the only antivirus/cleaner with a 99.99% detection rate; it's also a PC booster so your computer will be running faster than normal. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.
