Well it sort of depends! Do u believe in God & accepted what Jesus sacrificed for us? Were u a good loving person? If so, you ascend to light my dear, where we go home. There's no place like home, heaven. Your soul leaves your body, but I believe we get to come back to see our funerals etc.. If we loved God, we die, we get to go to Paradise~ not a doubt in my mind:o]

OK now let's say u weren' t a believer, I think atheists would get 1 chance to claim God & the Lamb as their saviour & if it is God's will, u may be permitted into the pearly gates. & if u won't claim it, maybe u have to come back to earth to try again. Or were just an evil hateful murderer in your life, I believe u are absorbed back into the sun, where evil doesn't exist anymore.

I don't think you are honestly going to find a true answer by asking human beings just like yourself. It is not possible for any living person to 100% know what happens when a person dies. I guess you'll have to believe what you believe and wait to find out if you were right.

People who have died say that there is a white light and a tunnel. At the end are our loved ones. A great sense of joy comes over them and when they are brought back (or God sends them back is more accurate) they have no fear of death. Wow, that would be great wouldn't it. I have never died and truth be told i hope i don't for many more years but if this is true, and i hope it is, we all have something great to look forward too don't you think. Peace.

Ps. 146:4 says: His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; In that day his thoughts do perish.

Eccl. 9:5 says: The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all.

John 11:11-14 says: Lazarus our friend has gone to rest, but I am journeying there to awaken him from sleep.’ . . . Jesus said to them outspokenly: ‘Lazarus has died.

I don't know. What happens when YOU die?

That's just it. When you die, you die. Game over, end of the line, no more you. Your neurons stop firing which means your self-awareness and consciousness simply cease. With time, your body breaks apart into its constituent chemicals and elements and those get reused one way or another.

That answer will purely depend on what belief you hold.

Christian: You go to heaven (or hell)
Catholic: You go to heaven if you're really good, hell if you're really bad (like Hitler bad), or Purgatory, which is a waiting ground where you can work off or pray off your sins.
Judaism: I think they only have a heaven and hell.
Hindu: Reincarnation (i think)
Buddiasm: Reincarnation until you hit Nirvana (i think)

Scientifically, your body starts a series of decay.

Jesus needs to be in your heart, so that you know, that you know, that you know, that you know-- that you are going to Heaven when you die.

Your body may go in the ground, but the instant you die, in Christ, your spirit goes to Heaven.
Read Revelations. If you are too scared or hate the thought, you may not be saved, through Christ.
Christians get excited at reading Revelations, because it tells how the trumpet will sound, and all the dead that were buried in Christ (with Christ in their hearts)-will rise up to meet Jesus-with others that are living, with Christ in their hearts--We will all rise up to meet Christ in the air.

When we get to Heaven, we will see all of our loved ones again--that had Jesus in their hearts. We will see the streets of gold, all our loved ones,....just read Revelations.
