they were the original creations, weren't they? if we are to believe, neither was born normally. we have belly buttons because it is the scar left when the umbilical cord that attached us to our mothers was cut.

My husband and I discussed that after I told him what caused belly buttons...it was cute. He's 23 and didn't know why we had belly buttons!!! He realized and I confirmed after our daughter was born. But there is no reason the they, Adam and Eve should have had belly buttons.

God created them in his own image, creation is a way of giving birth to something. I believe that they did have belly buttons, because they passed that 'trait' down to the rest of us.

They DIDN'T have belly buttons. There are no surviving photographs of Adam and Eve, but I remember a t.v. or radio play and it was mentioned that they didn't have navels.

Yep, I've thought about it before and come to the same conclusion! They had to have been without belly buttons.
Unless...God put them there for cosmetic reasons. Who knows?!? Put it on your list of questions to ask Him when you get to heaven!

Yes, I have thought about that! Many think there were "people" already on earth before God created Adam and Eve.
Out of this large universe, why did God stick us all on this small planet anyway!

What bothers me more is that when they saw each other naked, they were ashamed. Ashamed of what?
Did Adam have love handles? Did Eve think her butt was too big?
"Does this fig leaf make my hips look too wide?"
