The line is not direct. As Christians we must go through Jesus. From what I know in my heart, I believe God to be very sad that we are at war with ourselves. That innocent children are being sacrificed everyday in the name of selfishness and speculation. He is also crying out to those who are aporting their babies. He knows they are lost and hurting badly. All those babies go to heaven, but it's their parents that might not. To me that is very heartbreaking. As a parent I would want my children to come home. All of them.

Abortion is the indirect act of an infidel. There are many reasons why a woman would have an abortion, but above all the MAIN reason is the husbands indirect fault to be a provider. Any other reason is an act of complete infidelity. Islam is the answer to the root of all questions. It is men who deny a GOD that he makes all his mistakes in life.

God has said not to commit murder or anything like unto it. But he is also merciful and just. If there are extenuating circumstances (mothers life being in danger, rape, incest) it is permissible. But thoughtless discarding of the power of creation is wrong.
Note: Allah means the one God. It is just a different language for God and we generally don't translate it. (I happen to be Christian not Muslim)

We believe it is wrong and God will question people on the Day of Judgment concerning it.
Here are some Quranic Passages concerning Abortion
[6:151] Say, "Come let me tell you what your Lord has really prohibited for you: You shall not set up idols besides Him. You shall honor your parents. You shall not kill your children from fear of poverty - we provide for you and for them. You shall not commit gross sins, obvious or hidden. You shall not kill - GOD has made life sacred - except in the course of justice. These are His commandments to you, that you may understand."
Abortion is Murder
[17:31] You shall not kill your children due to fear of poverty. We provide for them, as well as for you. Killing them is a gross offense.
[17:32] You shall not commit adultery; it is a gross sin, and an evil behavior.
[17:33] You shall not kill any person - for GOD has made life sacred - except in the course of justice. If one is killed unjustly, then we give his heir authority to enforce justice. Thus, he shall not exceed the limits in avenging the murder; he will be helped.

I am sure it hurts Him deeply to take a life that He gave to them..But remember if someone has and wants to be forgiven they can be forgiven if they truly want it..
