you cannot reheat coffee. reheated coffee, even those that has been kept warm for a long time, is usually bitter in taste, even when you put in sugar, the bitter aftertaste is still there.

No. That's the reason for insulated carafes. Check your local thrift store. You can often pick up a good one for less than $5. As an alternative, use a good thermos bottle. In either case, pre-heat it by filling with boiling water. A top quality thermos, such as the Alladin stainless steel model, will hold coffee to a reasonable temp for 4 hours or longer.

No, not really. We all wish. Carafes are fine for awhile.Just make a new pot full, pour yourself a gooood cup.
