have anyone noticed that some people just attract the opposite sex like flowers attract bees while others just dont seem to get any such attention no matter how hard they try? any idea why is this so??

I don't think it's necessarily looks or wealth. I think some people attract attention from the other gender because of their own confidence and the body language that goes along with it. If a person gives off signals of desperation, they are not attractive to others. There is also the innate desire to be attractive to others...People who don't care about attracting sexual attention mostly don't. People who want to be admired, and have self confidence, often are admired.

The strangest thing is, I have seem women who are ugly or plain looking but they are magnets for men! I guess, they've played their cards well. They know how to sweet talk their way into the men's hearts or they exude an inexplicable level of confidence that somehow veils their flaws. Or maybe they know what men want in a relationship and they are able to offer what other women have failed to offer.

This is often depends on looks and personality. Some people may be very good looking, thus scoring excellent points in first impressions. Or the person can be popular because he/she appears often in the media or it can be something he/she has done that impresses many, etc.
