Are you still looking for Jesus? Good for you! You may not have to hit rock bottom before believing.

It is really really hard however it is something that they have to do why I have no idea? Check out AAA might shed some light on what an addict does and is. Rock bottom is different for everyone. I had a female friend who was and is an addict. Watched her loose her home her kids and her career. Watched her go to jail not once but four times. It hurts do you think she changed nope still drinks. For her I see rock bottom being in a bar giving our BJ for her next drink. Does it hurt like hell what do you do?? Understand you cant do anything she is an addict end of story she needs to hurt so bad be at the very bottom to want to change. Then she has to work a program. I hate to tell you this but you really should check out a open meeting to really fully understand how low low really is. Or turn around and dont look back and run dont walk far far away as they destroy everything around them!!!! Best of luck Oh and I think you should change your name no way are you a zero!!! Much love good luck!!!

No. Rock bottom for me was laying face down on the floor of an empty room literally just twitching because I was out of money, had no hope for recovery, no hope at all. So I just laid there, empty minded, and twitched.

After a few hours, I realized that the stress was doing more harm than good so I sat up, sighed, and got on with life. There was no point being depressed or upset or giving up, none of those would solve my problems. So I went and watched some TV, went to bed early, got up the next morning, and got to work on those problems.

One might say, "Oh, well, you had faith in yourself then!" No, there was no faith in myself either -- just the total abdication of emotional involvement. I didn't care about anything at all, so I simply resigned myself to going through the motions of trying to get back on my feet even though I didn't want to.

Annnnnd, here I am, happily employed, with good living conditions, my finances back under control, and my debt dwindling with every paycheck. All from simply going through the motions.

I was in a band called Rock Bottom, are you referring to that old group?

I love Felix the Cat, he's a wonderful, wonderful cat.

From my own experience, yes. I found God in the bottom of the valley of the shadow of death. When all options in the natural are of no avail I cried to God and He helped me. He even gave me a vision that He was in the battle for me. He has given me the victory. My experience showed the God works all things (in my case the bad one) for the good of those who love Him and are called to His purpose. Most of all I now have Jesus as my friend and eternal and abundant life. But the easy way will be just believe God instead of God allowing you to hit rock bottom before He picks you up. This is my advice to all.

It seems to be were people are more willing to turn their hearts to the Lord. When everything is going good in ones life, they don't want to hear about the Lord, that's why we are able to hit rock bottom it's the turning place.

Rock bottom is but one path to faith. It is whatever it takes for you to learn. Some are more stubborn than others.

Just remember, Spiritual attainment comes from within and not from without.
