Where can I get an electric furnace (hotplate style) that can heat an object on top of it +800 C?

I'm not looking for the closed in furnace kind, and it must be electric

I'm beginning constuction of a Down's Cell and I need buy the heating element so I can decide on the diameter

You can buy electric furnaces of a variety of sizes depending on your budget. These enamelling furnaces probably best for a small budget:

Go buy a propane torch. $5 at the hardware store.
