Wonderful place is The Gambia - went on holiday there about 30 years ago - went to a village to see the (allegedly) last crocodile known to exist in the country - too late - the natives had scoffed it!
Did get an absolutely awful dose of the Shi*ts - so something was working! - and drugs were freely available more or less anywhere, for those that way inclined.

If you hold British Passport you will have to pay £5 at Banjul Airport on arrival - where passport is stamped allowing stay of up to 28 days - Enjoy the country - The Gambians are wonderfull people.
