I just put on some perfume and I'm apparently allergic. Any good way to get it off? Alcohol or something? Or is the only way to completely shower it off?

My grandma actually showed me an easy way last weekend that worked like a charm. You use a lemon wedge or just cut a full lemon in half. Then rub the lemon flesh gently over the areas on your skin where the perfume is. Once the perfume smell is gone, you can use a warm cloth with any dish or hand soap and rinse off the lemon scent, or you can leave it on. In my case, I left it on cause I love the smell of citrus, and my uncle (whose allergic/sensitive to perfumes and scented sprays etc) didn't have to worry about his breathing or sinuses.

Well, there you have it, 2 good outcomes to one problem LOL. Good Luck! =)

P.S: If you haven't already, you may want to launder any clothing that the perfume may have come into contact with to avoid any more adverse reactions.

How To Get Perfume Off

Wash cloth and some soap if you don't have time for a shower. Rubbing alcohol will also work but then you have to wash that off as it can be sticky if there's too much on your skin.

Washing it off is the best way to completely remove the scent. Anything else will only dull it.

rub it on stainless steel sink - that takes the smell off - but the actual perfume will still be there - need to wash it off with soap

Shower it off sounds the best idea

I think the best way is to shower it off any other way creates too many fumes. you might pass out girl. (alcohol does work but its way too strong)

I would call a department store beauty counter and ask them what they would recommend. Never hurts to ask and it would only take a few minutes of your time. =)
