i think tea has most caffeine, because it is infused in hot water for so long. while the coffee is processed, so i guess most of its caffeine is not as strong as slowly brewed coffee.

it's definitely coffee, by about 30mg to 12mg.

The reason there's any confusion about this is that a pound of tea leaves contain more caffeine than a pound of coffee beans; but once it's made into a drink, the coffee has more caffiene (since you use a greater weight of coffee beans per cup than you do with tea leaves), and that still applies with instant coffee and a tea bag.

Coffee for sure. I can drink tea in the evening but if ever I have coffee which is rare I am awake half the night.

A cup of tea has more caffeine than a cup of coffee. You see this by the way people drink it. One cup of tea or 4 cups of coffee :)

I would have thought coffee, but I'm sure I read somewhere that although tea does contain caffeine, it is the type of caffiene that cannot be absorbed by the human body, so it just passes through you...

Although coffee has more caffeine by volume than tea the caffeine in tea is more easily metabolised.

This depends entirely on the strength of the coffee and the strength of the tea.

it's simple - black tea has more (surpise!) caffeine than black coffee, but less caffeine ten Turkish coffee or Cuban coffee, green tea has less caffeine than black coffee but more than double shot Cuban coffee and white tea has the least amount of caffeine.
