why do they say hurtful things just to make you hate them even though they care about you and dont reall ywanna say those hurtful things

A lot of guys are immature, and instead of sharing their true feelings most guys have been brought up to act tough rather than sensitively. You will find a grown up man secure with himself enough to share his true feelings, or the one you are with now will grow up eventually, don't worry.

I wonder if some men have difficulties articulating their own dilemmas without fearing they will look stupid. So they are verbally aggressive. If they are expected to be authoritative, they may not have the skills to be consistent and assertive in their decision-making and response to others. Poor role models/leadership skills, but nobody's perfect. Try not taking anything anyone says personally and use your own intelligence to respond. You may decide they don't deserve your attentions. Good luck growing up in the real world.

A lot of guys aren't smart enough to realize what they say is hurtful, they only care about themselves and their own feelings, if you are with someone like that, you probably should move on to someone that will treat you with respect.

It's mabey an insecurity issue and the guy doesn't know how to tap into his emotions properly yet so he puts you down to make himself look good,my suggestion is your relationship worth this aggravation?

Ask the boy who says the hurtful things to find out why.
Maybe he is angry at you or he is just a plain idiot.
If he is an idiot, leave him, no matter how much he "cares" about you

guys and girls both do it.. it's to save face.
This is typically a defense response.. they wanna make you hurt as much as they hurt. The more hurtful the things they are saying, the more they have been hurt by what you have said or done.

b/c guys like that don't know how to show their emotions. It's probably just b/c their hurting and need to take it out on you.
but you deserve better than a guy who hurts your feelings. If he doesn't know how to deal with his own emotions how do you expect him to deal with yours?
