Write down the words you don't understand and look them up later. Meanwhile keep a straight face after the punch line and say "I don't get it". This will generally cause the joke to be funny all over again.

do not think of your inferiority complex while chatting and having jokes with them. just put on your mind that you arte of the same level, when they will laugh, laugh with them and try to ask from them the meaning of the word which you could not understand. if they are raeally your friends they will not despise you after all bvut they will teach you or ;tell you about the word which you could not understand

well you shouldn't be inferior in front of your friends unless they are laughing behind your back at you. But try to blend in and once in a while tell them to Fccuk off, that will make them laugh, good luck!

I would honestly ask my friends what I don't understand in the conversation/s. No one knows everything. If they are your true friends, they should take you for who you are. If they don't treat you right, then, they are not your real friends. You should feel comfortable and be able to just be yourself with your friends. If you don't feel that way, perhaps it's time to think and ask yourself if you really belong to the group.

Make a mental note of the words you don't know and look them up. There is also nothing wrong with admitting you don't know something. It will get you more respect than you would think....unless your friends are immature....in that case, the joke is on them.

First, how old are you? I ask this because if you are an adult you can tell them to **** off. If not, just ask someone you trust to explain what was said, like a parent or close friend. If someone makes fun of you because of it, you really don't need that person around you.

Don't say anything to them, but secretly go out and buy a dictionary and read it for hours. Practice with it and practice using the words in sentences. Listen quietly for a while and then one day, you can come out with your own well-thought out jokes and quips and leave them all wondering just how deep you really are!

No man is higher than any other man in dignity and honour.
All rise and fall; sometime we shine like a star, sometime we lag behind.
Just try to learn, and learn and learn the good things and try to do them.
