You dont need anything except for the following three items:
Ticket, Money, Passport

It depends where!
Passport key for abroad....along with tickets and any booking confirmations should you have any......any visas for where you are going to?
Soft shoes......luxury item for sitting down.....or chilling...
Wash bag....
Phone charger......and adaptor if abroad..
May also need some batteries if you have anything that won't work abroad through the mains...
Make sure you have bank cards...and any foreign money already changed up.....and pin numbers at hand for any cards that you might use on holiday that you wouldn't normally....
Camera?
Gloves / hat if cold, sun cream if hot!
Number of insurance company [I assume you have holiday insurance...?].......and obviously details of travel people you booked through....
A book or magazines....
Have a great time....just remember you can buy most things you need and have forgotten there anyway!

Money. Ticketts. Travlers checks. Pass port. Sun cream. After sun lotion, Hair brush,, Tooth Paste, Shampoo, Body wash, Deodriant, under wear, Towels, Make up, Hair dryer, Shoes, Hmmmmm Hope its helped :o) HAVE FUN!!!

Toothbrush, clean undies, socks, toothpaste, tampax or similar, contact lense solution, spare contact lenses, make-up, a fabulous piece of jewellery or pashmina, sunblock, skin cream, shower gel, shampoo, shoes, condoms ...
Passport, ticket, visa, money belt, bank and credit cards.
Watch out for pickpockets!
