If you are desperate to go to the toilet, but can't hold on any longer? Like do you do it down the hose or do you open it up and do it?

No they don't; they would go outside first - less messy. I can't imagine having to figure out to clean a vacuum cleaner after that.

LOL. Wish there was a vaccum cleaner handy everytime i wana wee. But i asked how do astronauts do their business in outerspace and they told me by a vaccum... so i'm guessing only in outerspace.

well of coarse we do, when you run out of t.p., or you are vacuuming and do not have time to stop. Its completely normal.
