You could make a Jello cake. Bake a yellow cake according to the directions. Then when it is cooling, poke holes in the top of the cake with a tooth pick, all around. Now boil water for a 2 cup box of jello, 1 cup of water. Put colored Jello package in a bowl. When water is boiled, pour 3/4 cup water in bowl, {only}. Mix, then, using a spoon, drip the Jello over the cooled cake. The Jello must be hot. It may sound weird, but less water is a must. The Jello will make a design in the cake. If the Jello seems to be alot , don't put the whole thing. Use a green or red color, something that will show with yellow. Than make a whipped cream and cream cheese frosting for the top. Spread frosting before serving, so frosting will not melt.

The best cake ever is the red velvet cake my aunt makes from scratch. It is scrumptious!! I'm not much on pie, I prefer cobblers to pies. Jello is pointless unless it has alcohol in it and the best pudding would have to be chocolate fudge!!

Cake cake cake. We make a bittersweet chocolate jellyroll type cake called Bouche de Noel (Martha Stewart's recipe), which is a long project and a pain in the butt, but WONDERFUL! The filling is chocolate mousse and the frosting is a dark ganache that tastes so good...I'm drooling right now. We make the cake look like a log (Thus the name) with bark inscribed on the frosting. The final touch is meringue mushrooms dusted with cocoa.

Here's the perfect solution to have your cake and Jell-o, too!
(It sounds funky but it's delicious - you won't believe it!):
JELL-O POKE CAKE
----------------------------
Take 2 cups boiling water, 1 tub (8 oz.) Cool Whip Whipped Topping, thawed, and mix & match your recipe from these options...
cake layer options: Jell-O Brand Gelatin choices:
white cake Strawberry
yellow cake Berry Blue
spice cake Orange
chocolate cake Cherry
Then follow our 3 simple steps:
PLACE 2 baked 9-inch round cake layers, top side up, each in clean 9-inch round cake pan. Pierce cakes with large fork at 1/2-inch intervals.
STIR boiling water into 2 pkg. (4-serving size each) Jell-O Brand Gelatin in medium bowl at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Carefully pour gelatin evenly over cake layers. Refrigerate 3 hours.
DIP one of the cake pans in warm water 10 sec.; unmold onto serving plate. Spread with about 1 cup of the whipped topping. Unmold second cake layer; carefully place on first cake layer.
Frost top and side of cake with remaining whipped topping.
Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until ready to serve. Decorate as desired. Store leftover cake in refrigerator.

poke holes in your cake after it is cooled and fill them with caramel or choc sauce and then pour pudding over the top and after that sets, frost with cool whip!
