look at his body language....do his feet point toward you when in a group conversation....?( not necessarily both feet, even the front foot pointing toward you is a good sign......)
Does he look at you alot ?,
do you catch him sneaking glances at you every now and then .....that kind of thing?
find reasons to come and talk to you?
accidentally touch you when there is no need to?
if these things are happening you can be sure its more than just being polite......

He looks at your body, for one thing. Or did you think he was being "polite" when you caught him staring at your **** instead of looking you in the eyes that one time (or more likely many times) when he slipped up. A real man, by the way, looks at your body whenever he pleases and doesn't care what you think about it. He also tells you quite early and quite bluntly if he likes you as a woman. This is a sign of an aggressive man. How aware he is of your feelings and response tells you the quality of the man. A guy who does this and is making you uncomfortable or is making you look like a whore in front of others, is a low quality man. A guy who is turning you on, says the right thing at the right time, is tactful and cares what effect he has on you...that's a high quality man you better snap up real quick before some other girl gets him.

This is being shallow, what else would you call it, you judge people by the way they look, after you saw his picture did you judge right away? Did you give him a chance to get to know his personalty? You make him sound like a monster, scaring you with his picture? How bad can it be? How long have you been chatting, you must have gotten to know his personality, what was that like, was he nice? I'm sure he was or else why else would you continue talking to him. As for not hurting him he must be pretty nice for you to worry about that, or why else worry, why not just dump him, your not obligated to him, just tell him that you found someone else. That's better than telling him the truth, that you don't like his looks !!!!!!!!

Ask him to a cup of coffee, if he says yes but seems uncomfortable than he's polite, if he seems happy he might like you, if he says NO I think you know what that means Love. :P
