Hey yo CAPTAIN MACARONI...stick it up your butt!
You don't know how old this person is or anything about her?
What a very rude thing to say.
You know I believed for a long time that that was the case, my dad told me a story of a woman who JUMPED off the NARROWS bridge in the mid to late 60s and she lived to tell her experience.
She said she kept falling down to a pit, there was darkness and screaming...etc.
I want to believe that GOD will forgive us if we make that terrible choice, a permament decision for a temporary problem...
I was in that place (suicidal/ depressed) for a very long time.
It feels like two thirds of my life I was or am depresed.
I will pray for you and your dad.
If you are such a (what word...???) DEDICATED CHRISTIAN??? I don't suppose you would consider the thought of leaning toward the SYLVIA BROWN side of the coin.
PSYCHIC/ new-age?? SYLVIA BROWN.
She was on not Maury...uh...MONTEL
He has her on a lot, I guess he really believes in her, she seemed to HELP a lot of people as far as I could tell.
I mean she seemed to pull out stuff that nobody could have known, not just RANDOM BITS OF INFO. that could apply to anyone.
I still do not know what I believe for sure...With my CHRISTIAN faith/ upbringing...
But look at some of my questions...
anyway, SYLVIA had a person ask her about their brother or dad who comitted suicide...sorry.
And Sylvia was like,"Well you know he was mentally unstable, or had some mental problems(be it depression or whatever...)".
and she said, "Don't worry, he just came right back in to the world". To do it again and get it right this/ or the next time...
She referred to this world, pretty much as "hell". She said we are here to gather our spiritual lessons basically.
I believe in GOD, I have believed, for my whole life, that JESUS CHRIST died for me on the cross...and yet, having said that...I do not know if this world really is all it seems...
Sometimes I think I have lived many lifetimes...
Sometimes I am sure we only get, as the BIBLE says, once to live, once to die, and once to be judged . (one lifetime on this planet)
But GOD is SOVERGN, He is ALL LOVING, & all knowing.
Some say, that in the APOCYLYSPE of PETER, in the book(s) that did not make it into our CANON text,(the Bible)... Peter said he asked GOD why/ How could he condemn souls to hell for all eternity if He is an all loving GOD, and God told him to seal this up, but that the souls in hell would be, eventually set free.
Ofcourse that is one of my questions from months ago, and people were like, well if it was SEALED then how can anyone find it?
I have an open mind.
I thank Christ for dying on the cross for me, and for giving up His life, that I may, if I believe, Have Eternal life in PARADISE...
I have a lot of thoughts and ideas.
I used to feel like I had to smoke pot everyday just to get through the day...
I think now I am just starting to realize...ALL IS NOT AS IT SEEMS.
God has a plan for each of us.
He said He would never give us more than we could handle...
This day and age, we are practically immune/ de-sensitized to DEATH and DYING...
Sad but true.
I mean unless it is someone very close to us, like your Dad.
I really like to think and hope that GOD has more forgiveness and understanding and COMPASSION than the CATHOLIC PRIESTS say HE does...and gives us another chance, or as JESUS said...70x70 chances or basically infenite chances...to learn, to heal, to help to love, to forgive & be forgiven...
I want to believe that your Dad is either allready in heaven/ Paradise with Jesus/ God... or that he got another chance to re-do this life over...
We do not know all the answers, we only use like 10% of our brain...
God knows everything, there is a reason He has not yet revealed all things to us...
I believe GOD can do all things.
I have a question...
What if there are PARALLEL universes for every single choice/decision, we ever made?
In one "universe/or existence" your dad made the wrong choice, he felt it was too difficult to go on so he ...well you know,
But in another parallel existence, he decided NO WAY, I can't do this to my family, and there is another you still living in that plane/ existence/universe...with your dad.I do not mean to be hurtful, but what if...NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD right?
God knows all things.
God loves each of us, we are all Gods children.
That NOT ONE SOUL SHALL PERISH...
Keep looking up ;)
I think your dad is still alive and well at least in the SPIRIT and watching over you, That is what I hope...
For you as well as for my G.F's boys...(10 and 14)
Their dad left 5 years ago this halloween.
The 14 year old seems to be having the most difficult time with it...and here we are comming up on the 5 year aniversary.
God Bless you...
You and I both know He does.
Never give up hope, as tough as it gets.
Help others, and the LORD will set you free.

God knows the hearts of each and everyone of us. The judgment of sending a person to Heaven or Hell is His alone. We, by our beliefs and actions, influence His decision. God has spoken to us by giving us the Bible. It is our heritage and our instruction on how to conduct our lives. It is also a warning of the consequences we each will face. Don't believe that your papow is in Hell just because someone here says it. Only God knows and understands the troubles in our minds, hearts, and souls. Pray for him and leave it to God.

I have written a detail message on this located in the link below.

I was not going to post this on an open forum but I will after seeing others have said the same thing.

If anyone has placed their trust in Jesus Christ (see 2nd link below) then Jesus promised that they would have eternal life. He did not place any exceptions in that promise. (see 3rd link)
Suicide will not keep someone that has accepted the LORD for salvation from having the eternal life HE promised..BUT

For those who may be thinking of suicide...I URGE you to read this message on suicide and to contact us. We also have an interactive group in which you will find many caring people. You can find it at:

as He was saved and had a momentary lapse of faith - he will be judged as we all will when we arrive face to face with God. back in the early 1900's and prior not much was known about suicidal tendencies and yes, people back then were not generally thought of as "in heaven". thankfully it's now understood that someone who has committed suicide really sin't in their right mind at the time. personally I believe that he will be waiting for you.

The only sin that can't be forgiven is the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. One way this happens is if one rejects Jesus as Lord. I believe if he were saved, he'll be in Heaven.

Laying dogma aside (as there is no direct prohibiton regarding suicide in the Bible), the concern is any sins that may have been with him when he dies, and having no chance to cleanse.

If God is all forgiving, your father is in heaven

Yes Truely, he went to heaven & will be there for you. He will always be with you & I'm sorry for your loss. He was obviously ill & God will understand this.

Blessings to you...& don't worry about him, he's in a place with no pain. :)

Murder (others or self) is not an unpardonable sin. God knew his heart... if he trusted in the blood of Christ to get him to heaven, that's where he is :) God bless you. ~Nise~
