My school is doing a production of the popular Disney movie High School Musical. Does anyone know how much the licence will cost? P.S. I am well aware of the fact thaty I have already asked this but I did not get many replies

Your best bet is to call the publishers and ask them. It usually depends on: how popular the show is and if it is being produced professionally at the time you are performing; how many nights you are performing; how much you are charging to watch it; how many people are intending making a videos of the performance; and whether it's being put on in your own school hall or a town play house!
The publishers usually put a little paragraph at the beginning or end of the producers copy, telling you how to get in touch with them and in my experience, they have always been very helpful.

Disney would first have to make the rights available, which will probably never happen. If they ever did, it would likely be way too expensive for a school district or community theatre to afford.

Not sure, but probably in the thousands if they even allow it at all. I honestly wouldn't even know where to go to even ask about that. Disney's a pretty massive corporation
