Well Muslims certainly dont want ppl to go to hell
its the worst place that one cant imagine

Maybe there is a God out there.
You don't have to go far to know this. Just try to do the followings:
1. Try to forgive.
2. Try to free people. (Free them of their burdens, sickness.. etc)
3. Try to build yourself and others so that talents and opportunities are used so as the create a place where faith, justice, peace and love can flourish.
Do all these with patience, kindness and hope.
After doing them, I'm very sure you can feel/know/realize that there is a God sooner that you can ever imagine.

No, I've never wondered why. I know or can imagine most of the reasons.
Having come from being a believer in my early days and then getting a firm grip on things later, I don't think they're on to anything.
Might doesn't make right.

What I find odd is when 2 people are trying to tell me they are talking about the same God, yet have totally different descriptions.

I don't question, I know. People tell me about God in order to convert me and spread their religion. It is for this same reason that cold viruses induce sneezing, and computer viruses send emails to all your contacts. Religion is a mental illness, and it's contagious.
