Mav doesn't fit into any denomination. Mav doesn't even fit into the 'nondenominational' denomination.

Mav struggles greatly with different denominational doctrine.
Mav believes it when Jesus told woman at well. "The time is coming and has come when you will not worship on this mountain nor in Jerusalem." and "God is spirit, you must worship Him in spirit and truth."
Mav believes denominational doctrine blocks her from doing that.

I attend a Baptist church. (which isn't a denomination). I chose it after I was invited there by a neighbor the first week I moved to a new town. I stayed because the church was and is full of people who love God and are there to support each other. Also the weekly message is always directly from scripture which I think has a huge benefit over other denominations.

I do not belong to a named denomination so most would brand me with the 'non denomination' tag. To me, that is still a denomination. I suppose I would fit in a lil better in the universal category of faith. But I claim none of them except this one thing, I am Christian because I believe in Christ Jesus. However, I believe he is greater than traditional Christian theology gives him credit. His death burial and resurrection is more powerful and far reaching than Christian theology says it is because he did not die 'hoping' that some might believe, no, his sacrifice was so that ALL WILL believe. Most theology by default takes away from the power of God but the truth keeps it right where it accomplishes its work, in the heart.

Benefits, the greatest of them ALL is the universal inclusion of salvation for every man women and child that has EVER been born, and that will EVER live.

For anyone who does not know what the universal beliefs is; it is quite simple. God is the savior of ALL and ALL will be saved.

I have faith in God as my teacher, not man or his interpretation of translated versions of letters that were interpreted so that they could be translated into an easier to understand interpretation, whew.., of the truth, that supposedly is the inspired UNCHANGEABLE what?, give me a break.

I came to believe this through a desire to want to know, not from man, which led me in prayer to God, to research and study, that I might know some tid bit of the truth of the matter.

I am one of Jehovah's WitnessesI did not choose my religion on the basis of what suits me if I was choosing that I would probably have chosen one that is much easier, but Jehovah God drew me to him, by sending his servants to talk to me about the Bible, his Word and they taught me about the truth of God through his Word the Bible. The benefits of being one of Jehovah's Witnesses over another denomination are:world wide unityand peace amongst Witnesses accross all races and colours, same teachings all over the world true Love and help for each other as well as true love for others who are not witnesses, truth from the Bible, and those are just some of the benefitsI don't have enough room here to mention all of them.

I am from the Christian Missionary Fellowship International based in Cameroon and has sent missionaries to many not only in Africa but also in many Countries in Europe.
The day the gospel was clearly preached to me was in 1992 and that is when I surrendered my life into the hands of God.After saving me in March 1992 God didnot allow me to go back to the catholic church.
The main benefit it has over the others is the fact that we are very much committed in the making of disciples, something that is very rare in other ministries(denominations). When a person believes we follow him up until he is able to build others up in the Lord.

LCMS Lutheran - scripture only; let scripture interpret scripture. There's a big difference b/t this sect of Lutheranism and ELCA (evangelical ? church of America) - a sect that shouldn't really be considered Lutheran since they've drifted SO far from what Luther taught and believed - they believe the unscriptural (i.e. that the bible has errors, that evolution might be true, that woman can have abortions - they'll even pay for them through their health insurance) so I want to clarify the sect. Remember though, the true CHURCH is the invisible church that God sees and there are people from all denominations in it - they are the TRUE believers. God bless you. ~Nise~

Catholic. I chose it after studying and searching. It is perhaps more structured than many denominations and more peaceful and some would say solemn. It feels right to me. I need the structure, the peace, and the seriousness. I value the silence of Eucharistic Adoration.

I am Christian, but haven't exactly chosen a denomination. I love God, follow the commandments, & read the Word by myself to interpret it. Church is second to my love for God. Love for Him above all things is what I am learning as I go, it's really the only thing in life to accomplish. But some people really like church, it helps them feel closer (I always feel close to Him) to God, when u walk in the right church for you, u will know.:o] But I recommend a bible church, less politics & cliques.

I was raised Episcopal, my father and his family came from a striked Catholic back round. They never excepted my mother because she wasn't Catholic, My grandfather use to tell me to sneak across the street and go to a Catholic mass so I won't go to hell. Living next to a Catholic church was hard because I would see kids from school that I would continually have to tell them why I didn't go to Catacism (sorry not sure how to spell it) and from them too would be told I was going to hell. My mom gave me the greatest gift. When I was 13, and took my Confirmation, she told me that she raised me to believe what she believed and I was now old enough to explore and find which church I wanted to go to that did something for me. So after going to many different denominations, ( yes, I even went to the Catholic Church) I found that the only belief I have is a personal relationship with Jesus. He ended my search.
