a lot of the software that is bundled with the operating system Windows XP is integrated and can only be partially removed.

Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs
Click on Add/Remove Windows Components.

If the software can be uninstalled, it should be listed here.

If anything you can just delete the shortcuts in the program menu. You are not allowed to uninstall movie maker from Windows XP since it's integrated into the system. But if you just delete the shortcuts then "out of sight out of mind". I'm not sure why you'd want to uninstall it if you never use it and it's only a couple of MB in size.

It is possible to delete, but other than that it is a standard windows program and i wouldn't know how to delete it i can reccomend just delete it from your menu and forget about it

You can try deleting it in safe mode, but as the previous answerer said, you might as well just leave it alone. It's only 9.8 megabytes.

I'm sure you have plenty of hard drive space and MM doesn't take up that much, so just leave it on there.
