About 3 years ago, I noticed a small whitish bump (almost pimple like, but flat and has no inside substance) under my eye. Today, it is quite large (about 1/2 inch long, but still flat), and 3 doctors have told me different things and my confusion is at an all time high.

I tried to look them up on the internet, but since doctor's can't tell me precisely what it is, I don't know what to call it let alone search for it. And frankly, I'm tired of plastering on the concealer to hide it. I have never worn make-up in my life and now I can't go outside without it.

Does anyone here have this under their eyes, know someone as a friend / family member with the same thing, or even heard of this? I'd like to find a home therapy I can do to get rid of it, as surgery will cost me $1,500 and a 50% chance of blindness if they cut my eye open by mistake.

Please, please, please help me. I"m at my wits end!!!!!

It could be milia... they are caused by stress, sun exposure, and not taking your makeup off before you go to bed... I believe it might be hereditary also. My mom gets them and so do I. Don't try to remove them yourself. Go to the Dermatologist, they will do it for you. Good luck I hope this helps

When ever I use cream under my eyes i end up with what is called a cist it is a whote bump or spot under the eye that kinda looks like a piple but it won't pop mine usuallt stays about 6 months before I start picking an proding at it then it finally goes but now i know not to put certain creams under my eyes.My mom gets them to if she uses a cream that doesn't agrr with the skin.Get a sterilized pin and poke it until u break the skin and squess until it bleeds within 3 days it should b gone i hope it works for you.

I knew someone who had a white mark just above both eyes. I was told it was because of an oxygen deficiency.

I've heard that a white bump can indicate high cholesterol.
