The nukes, the terrorists, the guy that cut you off on the way to work,...do you recognize that all of these 'troubles' might be little reminders of the difference between 'good and evil' ? How many times must each one of us be 'reminded' to truly appreciate God's love for us?

Amen bottles, these are the beginning of the birth pangs that the bible speak of before the Lord's return. You also are seeing a skyrocketing change in people beliefs. They are starting to take it more seriously. I hope more people on yahoo answers take it more serious as well. It's no joke. It's as if Christians are building an ark trying to bring as many as possible, but like in the time of Noah, some people just won't believe until the rains come

I can't imagine that any of the worlds troubles are to remind us of Gods love for us. That seems a little convaluted.
I can't see Gods love in a starving childs eye, but I can see hope in the people eye's that give and work to ease human suffering. Maybe that's where the joy is.
