If sliced through the middle it will be round, but not perfect, they all tend to differ slightly.
If sliced from end to end, it would be cigar shaped.
The best way to settle your argument will be to go buy two Kiwi fruits, slice each one as described above, make a note of your findings, then enjoy eating them.
