WE created hell with our own FEARS, and spiritual energy. And if one took the time to study the Book, instead of preaching just like "believers" who don't study the Book.
They would know that our Creator is going to DESTROY death and hell.

Best question today! :)

And following that "logic" - If you don't believe like terrorists, why do you dislike them so much?

Or

If you don't believe it's right to rape people, why do you care so much when others do?

You can vote can't you? *sigh*

Hell, in Hebrew, is just the grave. The concept of Hell is a Pagan concept... the Underworld... where EVERYONE is judged. It is not place of torment.

The Bible shows a lot of different stuff... some of which is contradictory. Hell and death will be thrown into the Lake of Fire, destroyed forever. The only thing that lasts is the smoke from the destruction itself. Then, it leads you to believe that ALL evil is gone... yet you get to the very last chapter in Rev and you will find that God only lives in the New Jerusalem... on the New Earth.... with evildoers right outside the gates. BUT! There is no Hell for them to go to after that... cause Hell and Death is destroyed. Sooo I guess they live forever too.

This is probably why Rev wasn't considered canon until much much later.

I resent those believers in hell that devote their energy, spiritual or otherwise, toward condemning it to it. A person's religion is about them and the teachings of their religion are meant to guide how they live their lives, including how they interact with others. I can understand why many would feel they are obligated to spread the "good news" but they should be respectful of the beliefs of those that don't want to hear it.

Good question, but you should have ended it there. Your explanation speaks loudly about YOUR beliefs. You don't seem willing to listen to other theories. Hell wasn't created by our fears. You must have a different " book " than me. I never got that MY CREATOR was going to destroy death and hell. For the LIVING, those who have accepted him as their personal savior and sought forgiveness for their sins, there will be no death and hell. We will live forever in HEAVEN. I am sorry that you have been crossed by '' BELIEVER'S, who don't study the BOOK'' , but I have studied mine, and I couldn't DISAGREE with you more.

I don't resent those who believe in Hell. If that is their path, then so be it.
I think, for some, the resentment comes from those who would tell non-hell-believers that they are going to Hell because they are on a different path.
It does not bother me.

no we did not create hell with our fears or spiritual energy, Jesus who is the truth , told of that lake of fire reserved for the devil and his angels.
now , we seem to be people who live in denial especially about things that frighten us,if i dont want to believe something then it is simply not true at all.
remember this, hell is primarly the complete absense of love, lucifier refused to love God and turned that love in on himself thru pride and disobediance, if you have a relationship with God then you will love him, if you are wrestling with belief in God then there is still hope for you,if you have no relationship with God thru your own deliberate choice then you are going to mock the reality of hell, and yet if someone chooses to murder or rape etc, we rightly throw them in jail and not allow them to live where we live,
why should it be any different with someone who has rejected God throughout life and disobeyed at every turn not go to eternal jail ?

I don't particularly resent people who believe in hell; I pity them.

I resent the people who seem to believe (and feel the need to tell me) that I'm going there. -They- should go die in a corner somewhere and leave me alone.

they probably resent people who believe in hell because they think that they are perfect and have done no wrong or else they are scared that they are not perfect and are afraid of going to hell so they refuse to believe in it.

You are wrong.

There is most certainly a very real place called hell and it is NOT our own fears and "spiritual energy" my friend.

Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. NO ONE comes to the Father (God) but through Him (Jesus).
