I think a prayer rug is the least of your worries, you can find them anywhere and any of our muslim brothers will help you...But I am intreagued more importantly as to why u r doing so? Converting that is...not because it is islam, but I am interested to know why people convert to any religion...be it Islam or Christianity or Hinduism any faith for that matter.

Go and buy any rug you like .
It is only needed to pray .
u can pray even without it condition if surface is clean
Prayer rug only Islamic tradition but not an lbligatory
