Islam was born 622 years later than Christianity. But an interesting point of view is this. Christianity and Islam, Judaism, Zoroastrianism , Buddhism and other religions that we know are not different religions. Christianity is older by just under 600 years. I think I can safely say the start of Christianity was when Jesus was crucified (about 27 AD) and Islam was established in 622 AD.

Before Muhammad was, Jesus IS.
Moreover, Christianity is, in effect, a continuation from Judaism (that's why Christians use the Old Testament), which is REALLY old (and much older than Islam, of course). Islam, on the other hand, corrupts the Old and New Testament and call it the Quran.

All prophets: Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Issac, Ishmael, John the Baptist, Lot, Noah and others are all considered Muslims in Islam (Muslim means the one who worships the One God). They prayed to the one God and they deliverd his message. Mohammad was simply the last of the Prophets.
Yes, the first of the true monothiest religions was Judaism, then came Cristianity (with its rather confusing 3-in-1 God concept) and then came Islam again re-confirming the old Jewish belief that there is only ONE GOD, NOT A 3-in-1 God.

Christianity is older than Islam by about 740 years. Judaism is older than Christianity by about 2000 years & Sabean is older than Judaism by about 2000 years. Sabean being the original Religion of Noah.

Christianity is. But that is when we think of both as the words mean according to us: Christianity is the messege of Jesus, Islam is the messege of Muhammad.
But according to Allah (as the Quran reveals) all Prophets called their people to Islam; that means submitting to Allah. What differs is the doctrine, the details, the teachings, the rituals but in essence all religions are the same, Islam.
