There is no such thing as half a hole. It would be 30 minutes. A hole is a hole no matter how big or small.

The riddle is like ....u did not tell us that how big the hole is ....you said it takes 30 min. to dig a hole....now, the hole can be small, ok?
and then u said that how much time will it take to dig half a hole. you didnt mention the size so the half hole can be the half of a big hole with the same size as the small hole dug in 30 min.
