He speaks inside of us. Try to be still and hear Him. Sometimes it takes a lot of listening to hear God, but He is there even when He may feel a million miles away. He is still there and waiting for us to call upon His name and trust Him.

I believe that the Creator speaks to us through our hearts because that's where faith and love lives. If you need a sign of the Creator's presense then just look around at nature and you'll see and feel the Creator everywhere.

He speaks to all of us everyday. And if you want signs of his presence, all you have to do is open your eyes and SEE. The birds, the trees, the sun, the clouds, sound, sight, a smile, love, babies, a river, an ocean, the smell of cinnamon, fresh baked cookies, a good laugh, the time a stranger held the door open for you, the times you held a door open for a stranger, the fact that you're ALIVE, oxygen, food, birds, joy, etc. etc. All of these are blessings. Blessings that are present everyday. It's just a matter of...did YOU NOTICE them and APPRECIATE them? And did we GIVE THANKS!? God Bless You.

When I was a believer, I "heard" god a few ways: powerful feelings when in prayer or studying the bible, a convincing feeling to *do* a particular action that went against the grain of my own needs, a "still small voice" inside of me.

I believe that God speaks to us in everyday life. Yes through the bible but through humanity and His creation also.

God speaks to us through His word---The Bible. And also thru thoughts that the HOLY SPIRIT gives us. Some people claim that they have heard HIM speak , but I haven't.

God speaks to us through many ways but its not always easy to identify His voice. He speaks through others, through music, poems, books, circumstances etc. He speaks often too. You will know its Him because you will feel it in your gut (sorry, thats the only way I know how to explain it). Something will stand out to you. Thats why so many people when they attend a church service, will often say it felt as if the pastor was speaking just to them - that is God speaking through the pastor to you.
We underestimate how often He speaks to us.

It may be a thought that comes to mind, things that happen in our lives, something someone may say or share with you, or from the Bible as well, or other books ...
