Get rid of the human rights law and barristers like Cherie Blair then it might again.

No, the justice system is in complete shambles and it is the responsbility of the government to set policies that judges can sensibly follow rather than the human rights rubbish that plagues our laws like a disease.
The whole system needs complete overhaul with police being able to focus on doing their job i.e. catching criminals, not form-filling and the courts swiftly and strongly punishing those who choose to do wrong.
Unfortunatly this will not happen until the Home Office sorts itself out and someone in the government shows a bit of nerve and starts cracking down (John Reid looked promising but is going soft like the rest of Labour).

the police are the ones that take the petty things to court this make them climb the ladder but clogs up the system and the courts cant cope the ones who help the bad eggs with human rights e.t.c. are the ones that make it easier for the bad guys to get away with it and the folk that make the laws needs to live in the real world on every level before they make the guide lines for everybody where is the Justice

Back off him, the extra stress coming from you may actually be more damaging if this is a horomonal or emotional issue. Try to understand and there are ways you can be intimate without intercourse. Be experimental. And at some point maybe you need to ask yourself why you would be willing to let go of a guy because of being unable to have intercourse. I know of a few couples that have survived impotency. If your love is not strong enough to work through this with him, may I ask what's the point?

Thank you for saying it is the courts and NOT the police. As you also point out, it is the bloody lawyers who pick on every little word to try and get their clients off on some ludicrous technicality when they know full well THEY DID IT!!!!

Your observation happens everywhere not only in UK. There must be a sort of coordination or teamwork between the police and the lawmakers.

Laws work, for sure... it's just the people who disrespect it who make it hard to enforce.

"First, kill all the lawyers!"
This is what Shakespeare had one of his characters say when thinking about creating the perfect society. (In the play Henry VIII, I think).
