Small areas of decay where the outer enamel is still intact can be remineralized using some type of fluoride-containing product (toothpaste, floss, mouthrinse, etc.) This is only the case where there is no cavity, or hole, in the outside of the tooth. On bitewing radiographs, small interproximal lesions (between the teeth) can be remineralized with good oral hygiene, regular dental visits, and flossing. Topical fluoride from drinking water, toothpaste, or rinse is also important. Unfortunately, any time the enamel is perforated, there is no hope for remineralization and a filling is the only answer.

No, a cavity is decay which can not be brushed away it needs to be removed by drilling away the part of the tooth that is affected.

I used prevident at one time to help with some of the potential areas on my teeth that were prone to cavities. But no they don't go away especially if its already broke through the enamel. If its that small its no big deal, quick easy fix.

It can't go away, just look after your teeth until you are getting it filled then it wont be a problem for you, if you leave cavities for too long they get bigger and bigger no matter what you do, and trust me! They can be very very painful!! You dentist will take care of you!!!

The cavity will not go away. Brushing, floss, and fluoride rinse may prevent getting any more.

No, but it can help prevent it from getting bigger for the time being. Keep the brushing up. And get it filled. If you don't get it filled it will increase in size.

Go to Orthodontist. He will fill the cavity. Dont brush violently, cavity will enlarge and dislodge the tooth. After filling you may have to consult him frequently.

Heavens, no. A cavity is a hole in your tooth. You may be able to take the pain away but the hole will be there. And overbrushing is bad for your teeth as you risk eroding your enamel...

No it will not go away. It is decay. Brush to prevent you cannot brush to reverse.
