I would be surprised if they spent much time reading at all. Most people don't. They might have to start thinking for themselves.

I consider myself a fundamentalist and am glad of it. I fear God, which means I revere Him and love Him and respect Him. I do read my Bible on a daily basis and pray to Him. I have a relationship with Jesus and the God, the Father. As for Hell, I am glad I have an Eternal Life in Heaven awaiting me but I serve the Lord because I love him.

You've heard that the Bible is full of contradictions.
This comes from people who've not studied the Bible.
Strange how studying improves the mind.

I think they are trying to convince themselves that Christianity is not illogical, and is valid. I do not understand how anyone can actually believe that G-d came to earth in human form. Maybe they are having trouble believing this, too. G-d is One.
