Look Jesse if you really want to be cool about it, do this. I promise you it will work. While you are at school, a resturant or wherever, casually start up a conversation about one of his hot points. What I mean by hot point is subject that really interest him. Lots of guys like NASCAR, professional football, college football, swimming or whatever. Anyway find a "hotpoint" and start a general conversation with him. Then in a general way say look I know there are some interesting things I have seen on the internet about say "NASCAR", and say I know you have an email, can I get your email and I will send you a link about this topic. Like almost everyone he has an email or a cell phone. Email is great. So when you get his email, go home and casually send him a link on the topic, and then casaully mention in the email "Look there is a good movie playing would you like to go on Saturday night? I promise you if you use this approach, it takes the pressure off you and you are doing it in such an easy going way. It will work, just try it.
