yes, they do. The skin on the face is very delicate- you dont say if your male or femail, but either way, you wouldnt use the same skincare on your face as you do your body... the skin is far thinner and likely to be wounded by anything. Once wounded, the skin has to heal, but the degree of the wound will give an indication of scarring. If the wound is not very deep, it may not scar, if its particularlydeep or large, its more likely to. Added to that the fagility of the skin, which will be under more pressure then say a leg wound (as the face is constantly moveing and constantly in touch with the elements, it will be harder to heal to an even surface anyway, without the skin being already so fragile. Most things leave scars on the skin, heated lighters included. (supirzed you have gotten to a medical student level and not realised this stuff- did you never have any friends at school with spots or acne scars?)

I have Rosacea and have found the only thing that works is the Witch hazel range available from supermarkets, Superdrug, Boots etc. Prices range from approx. £2.50 - £6 so affordable. Although it hasn't cured the rosacea (there isn't one) it certainly controls it more effectively than any medication from the doctor - in fact I took myself off it. There's a fab 'stick' for instant spot-aid and a gel that combats redness - brilliant for sunburn too. There's a gentle foaming facewash, scrub and moisturiser. Even a medicated concealer! I use all of these daily (except scrub & concealer) and my skin is good, often told I have a good complexion (no, I don't wear much make-up either, never foundation!) I hope this helps, they are worth trying. Good luck and keep smiling!

So..
Millions of people all over the world are affected by hair loss, and it's not only the males that suffer this condition as even females are affected by this problem. What's sad is that many of the individuals affected by such a condition end up just accepting what is happening to their hair due to lack of information or options.

If you are looking for natural hair regrowth methods this is a good guide you can read http://hairagain.toptips.org

Oxy On The Spot, Benzoyle Peroxide Cream (2.5%). You can get it from any pharmacy. It costs £3.89. Put it on twice a day (be geberous with the amount you use) after washing and watch those spots disappear forever! It works, cos I used to have really bad acne on my forehead and chin and cheeks and it got rid of it. It won'tget rid of it overnight, but you will feel it workng straight away. No acne treatment will get rid of your spots in a matter of days, you have to be patient. But I am telling you, this is one effective cream.

Witch hazel cream or tea tree lotion are the best for clearing up spots. Try Superdrug - tea tree is about £1.50 - £2.00 in there.

To prevent them from reoccurring, you could try either eating some vitamin C packed fruit like oranges regularly or get some Vitamin C tablets from the chemist or health food shop. Probably do them in Superdrug too. They are about £3.00 for 60 or something and take one a day. Try to steer clear of greasy foods too as these do not help.

i'm not sure if this will work for your skin type, but i use dove facial foam as my regular facial wash and it works. It might take a long time for your zits to disappear but when it does, it doesn't leave any scar or marks on your face.Besides, it's a mild facial wash so it doesn't really dry your skin ^_^
