im thinking about becoming muslim but im not sure what to do i need help.

Regarding the revelations from ONLY ONE GOD, GOD chosen angel Gabriel through prophets (from first prophet Adam to last prophet Mohammad (PBU them all) including Jesus (PBUH) to deliver the simple message to believe in ONLY ONE GOD in order to achieve the purpose of life. But every time the message got corrupted until GOD sent the final prophet Mohammad (PBUH) to make the religion PURE from CORRUPTION. Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) always tell his companions/scholars to write it down as soon as the revelation from GOD comes via angel Gibriel. On top of that many people don't know HOLY QURAN is the only BOOK that has been memorised from begining till end that was the case during the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) life and after that. Now there are millions of muslim even the four years old memorised the whole QURAN unlike any other book. That's how the Quran is preserved in ORIGINAL form via written record as well as by memorisation.
There are only two scared books to follow, first is the HOLY QURAN and the other is the SAYINGS OF PROPHET (PBUH).
Regarding the HOLY QURAN:
Man or science and technology in their own limitations can’t answer this things/believes/struggle. Only thing left for the mankind is to find out from the ONLY ONE CREATOR that created everything that exists.
The thing is people don’t know what to follow. They follow something that haven’t said by prophets including Jesus (peace be upon him PBUH) himself. The solution to this is to do a research and find out the AUTHENCITY of the source or the books. It is not at all difficult in today’s world.
In Short: The ONLY PURE ORIGINAL WORD OF GOD is left on the phase of the planet is the HOLY QURAN that came with the prophet 1400 years ago without any SINGLE LETTER corrupted, that Guides, Faith with Proof, shows way of life, tells in details the mission of prophets including Jesus (peace be upon him PBUH), gives answers to all questions, solutions and tells much in details of what will be going to happen (past, present and future) and the purpose of existence, etc. The WORD OF GOD came with the SAME MESSAGE through prophets (from first prophet Adam to last prophet Mohammad (PBU them all) including Jesus (PBUH) and only person to interpret is the prophet of GOD at that time. Unlike HOLY QURAN all the other Books are corrupted and are not in the PURE ORIGINAL WORD OF GOD that’s is due to the handy work of Satan/Jinn/Devil and also human nature to follow their own desires rather than following the simple message of all the prophets that is to believe in ONLY ONE GOD in order to achieve the PURPOSE OF LIFE. In Muslim world there are many books available today in different languages of the ORIGINAL INTERPRETATION of the HOLY QURAN by the prophet of GOD about 1400 years ago that is the only interpretation that has to be follow to be the true follower of the prophet as commanded by GOD and the ONLY WAY to SUCCESS that is both in this WORLD and ETERNAL PARADISE. Your decision to become a Muslim will be an heavenly decision.
Islam is a religion of Peace , Love , Humanity and Unity .
Do not consider the people bias opinions and dont only base you decision just on a few ppl . As good and bad ppl are in every religion .
I assure you lyke many other converts you will find all the earthly and heavenly satisficaion in Islam.
Islam is based on the Oneness of Allah . Think from a mind many religions are based on idelogies of worshipping idols. How can idols give something to humans what they themselves are made of humans??? anyways leave this topic and try visiting

No religion teaches you bad. I am only concerned about the various schools of thoughts in every religion. I believe in God and I want to serve him in every which way. Mostly to show compassion and love to every fellow human being. Forgiveness and not to judge is also important to make peace. I have met many pastors and religious teachers be they christians or muslims. Most of the time they only demanded respect from me. What they taught me did not give me the answers I was looking for. I always felt dejected when I met them. Wars today are based on greed for power but they conceal it with the use of religion. I am sick of people who claim to be religious but are only superficial and dishonest. They claim that they believe in God and yet they forget God is watching us. Nothing worked for me. I had some spiritual experiences in my life and wish to use them to guide me. Right now, I don't want to be in any religion. Before becoming a Muslim, have a feel of all the muslims around you. Are you doing this for marriage or is it because you have totally understood Islam and wish to follow this path in life. Take more time to read the Quran translations, Hadith and also the syariah laws. If you find peace in them, if this is the life you have chosen, then best wishes.

1st, i don't think it's a good idea to look for an answer here, they will make u confused
look, if u are looking for a good reason to be a muslim, here is one or more, and sorry for my bad english, because i speak french
1- the logic don't accept the idea that there is a lot of Gods, there is only one God, Allah, the creator of the univer, of all creatures
2-the same logic will show u that it's nasty to pray for something created by a human, created of some wood(cross, statute...), or for an animal or a human....
3- in Islam, u don't need an intermediary between u and God, u can pray and ask forgivness urself, no confessions...
4-islam is the religion of Justice, God said in the holly Koran:"99.7] So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it
[99.8] And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it."
5- Islam miracles are still excisting till the moment, only scientists can confirm this for you, every year, scientist from all over the worl convert into islam when they discover the amaizing facts shown in Koran more than 1400years ago, and that modern sceince is prouving now thanks to the technology, this technology that needs always natural sorces, excesting sources created by God obviously!
u can notice that humans are not able to CREATE ANYTHING FROM NOTHING, EVEN AN INSECT! THEY ALWAYS NEED AN EXCISTING RAW MATERIAL, BUT ALLAH IS ABLE TO CREATE FROM NOTHING! and that's the difference between ALLAH and the other "gods" in what some poeple believe!
6- finally, i will tell u the mean idea of Islam, and of "Allah", God, from the first speach of God to his Messenger in the holly Koran:
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
[96.1] Read in the name of your Lord Who created.
[96.2] He created man from a clot.
[96.3] Read and your Lord is Most Honorable,
[96.4] Who taught (to write) with the pen
[96.5] Taught man what he knew not.
[96.6] Nay! man is most surely inordinate,
[96.7] Because he sees himself free from want.
[96.8] Surely to your Lord is the return.
[96.9] Have you seen him who forbids
[96.10] A servant when he prays?

I recommend prayer and soul searching. Decide and write down the reasons why you would choose Islam and do the same for Christianity. Look and see which seems right to you. Learn about both. No one can make this choice for you. It is something you must decide.

As in all questions - ask someone that is already a member of that religion, educate yourself by reading about it (maybe from the library), then make your own decision as it is a very important choice for you to make. Do not allow anyone to push you into their beliefs just because they want a convert.

Here's a reason not to. Because you are confused. If you have to think about becoming part of a religion, then you shouldn't. It's simple, you either believe it and have faith in it, or you don't. Otherwise you are just faking and you will waste your time pretending to be something you are not.

Options- Accept Christ- He is the way the truth and the light. He is God's Son. And no one comes to the Father except through the Son. Belief in Jesus Christ and accepting Him as the Son and asking His forgiveness is the only way. There are no other logical answers.

Why did I converted:
Uhmmm!
0-) ONLY ONE GOD you communicate with God alone
1-) No original sin
2-) You are only responsible for yourself
3-) You do not have to tell someone else your sin
4-) All babies who died without baptism go to heaven
5-) People with mental problems get their sins forgiven
6-) Islam is a way of life it tells you (How to be happy with what you have, how to be a good wife/ghusband, How to be a good parent, How to cook, How to go to the bathroom, How to treat your neighboor, how to conduct business fairly, how to be kind to parents, etcc etc etc)
7-) It was irily similar to my beiefs ifn Jesus and Vurgin mary (being an ex-christian that was a tough cookie for me)
8-) Every action has a reward and a punishment
9-) There is here after
10-) now I know the purpose of life... To Worship My creator and Yours GOD
11-) the Quran is a magnificent book, the first time I read it I was 16 and I read it by myself and could not put it down.....
The Quran was revealed to us in Arabic, which is the language of our prophet Muhammad (PBUH), It has not been changed since his original revelation, and it has been memorized by millions upon millions upon millions of Muslims, The Quran talks about God in the first person, The Quran talks about science, past, present, future, the Quran talks about women’s rights, gives details on prophets that are not even in the bible. For example, did you know that the Quran says exactly the words that Haciti Jonah said while inside of the “Big fish”. Did you know that there is a whole chapter dediated to Virgin Mary (PBUH)? Did you know that Jesus(PBUH) is mentioned by named more times than Haciti Muhammad (PBUH)? Did you know that the Phrases believing man and believing women in several verses of the whole Quran is mentioned the same exact amount of time? Did you know that the recent discovery of the body of the pharaoh that fought against Moses (PBUH) was in the Quran, hundreds of years before it happened? Did you know that the Quran talks about the separation of the Atlantic and Pacific seas that was just discovered during the 80s?…The Quran talks about the stages of formation of the embryo in the woman’s womb??? Shall I go on???? The Quran came in 23 years of revelation to prophet Muhammed and we even have prophet Muhammed’s teaching separate from the Quran (The word of God recited) , the collection of sayings and actions of the prophet we call it Sunnah (So we do not mix the word of God with the action of the prophet).
and it has no contradictions....
After I converted I found peace in worshipping God with everone of my actions, prayer, giving a good education to my son and in my marriage and doing a good job by working!
I could go on but the reasons are so many is hard to write them all!
IF YOU know in your heart that God is one and muhammed is his prophet that is all you need... no fancy ritual or anything :)
