@ The disadvantage of Multiple choice exams is that once you know the fact that it is almost impossible to write a longer wrong answer than the correct answer you can never fail. Just keep picking the longest answer whenever you have any doubt as to the right one. Why have exam writters not figured this out yet?

1- The stress we put upon the shoulders of our children to study and prepare for exams .
2- The possipility of getting poor results even for the ones who studied very well but due to stress , fear of failure one can get bad results .
3- Cheating which is a common factor for weak students give them a chance to get results they do not deserve which is unfair for others who studied hard .
4- Wasting a lot of time for studying , revising and worrying about the result which can be invested in any other way to improve other educational fields for our students .
5- Exams can never be considered as a real evaluation of one's real level or standard .

i'm taking a non exam module right now, and thus i think the advantages of it are the disvantages of exams. for one, we get to discuss most in-depthly about the subject rather than preparing for exams. also, exams may not be fair to children who develop at different stages, and studies in my country has shown that some males mature slowly than females tend to do poorly in early exams at the age of nine 9 - 10. it may also cause stress to some who can't take the pressures of exams.

1 -An exam result is just an indication of how well (or badly) you answered one particular set of questions put to you on one particular day.
2 - If you are unlucky and fail, you have to wait for a whole year before you can take it again.

Studying for them takes up valuable time that could otherwise be spent partying, staying up all night surfing the internet, chatting and playing games or watching the ever expanding CSI.

for me sometimes im not able to show my true thoughts because i choke up, although i might know the answe. .And its not just me a lot of people are like that its psycological like when i was in labor with my daughter, i wasn't in pain until i was told i was in labor ,so i became upset and told them they could have kept to themselves, so my point is it wouldn't be so bad if i didn't know it.
