Password the entire system.
Remember to log out.
Take the router with you, if you use one, or unplug the modem.
Teenagers really take the fun out of things don't they. My son had my computer so infected so many times. I lost 5 years of pictures, not to mention the downloaded programs that even after removing them they still remain as a reminder he was there.
Does he care? NO, so why should I care he can't use the Internet!

Block those sites, take the computer away for awhile as a punishment, ensure you are within site of her when utilizing the Internet and computer. Good luck, Some communities have great programs given by the police in the area to describe and explain safe Internet use. They are usually free and an open forum. Check with your local schools. There is also soft ware available that you can install on your computer to block many of these sites. Good luck and God bless

It's just a little thing called supervision! If the computer is in her room, move it out into the open! Don't let her use it, unless you are there to supervise. If she is home alone at times, then always check the history! If she can't follow your rules, then take it away from her! Ever watch dateline? There are alot of ways she could get herself into trouble on the net, so don't let it happen!

Well, if she's not at home, then there's not a lot you can do, I guess. But at home you can download a filter onto your computer that will block most offensive sites. Bad thing is, sometimes it filters out good sites, too. Gotta take the good with the bad, though, I guess.
Here's the filter we use at our house.........It's free.....
