If God Caused The Big Bang To Create The Universe And Before That There Was No Universe. What Did God Do With His Time Before His Decision To Cause The Big Bang?
NOTE: I Know Some Believe God Did And Some Believe God Didn't This For The Ones That Believe God Did Cause The Big Bang.

This is actually a very interesting question when you get into the metaphysics of it.
Part of the creation of the universe was the creation of time. Even physicists refer to material existence as time-space. In Islamic cosmology the period before the creation of the universe is called pre-eternity, meaning that it occured in an accomodation before the beginning of what we call time. Similarly after Yawm al Din (the last day) will be post - eternity or an accomodation after the end of time.
Therefore, and this is just a seed thought not meant to be a definitive answer, there was no "time" as we know it before the creation of the universe, so there was nothing for God to do in that "time" except pure existence, which some say is "where" God is even now. It is the realization of that state of pure existence in which time and space and limitation of any physicality (no matter how many dimensions it has) cease to exist which is the goal of spiritual path.
And Allah knows best.
Peace and Blessing,
Salim

This question is asked by so many people. Everyday all people ever ask is why, why, why. I mean even i do, almost everyday. Did you ever think that things were just meant that way. If we were meant to know what God did before he created the universe and the earth, then we would know but obivisovisly we don't and some times we just need to take it and go, stop wondering. He created this place for you and made you so special. Yet everyone takes it for granted. I mean come on look at this world we live in it's crazy, this is not what God intened. In my opinion i look at it like this before God created everything, he dreamed and created in his mind what he wanted each and everyone of us to be and what his purposes were for our life. You know the funny thing as an individual today, is that you can actually accomplish that. Yes, you can do all things through christ who strenghtens you, in the name of Jesus. Amen!!!!!!!!! God bless you and have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't believe the concept of time as we know it existed prior to the "Big Bang". All the Bible says is that God existed before all.

What he did before he created the universe is irrelevant. What he's going to do is what's important.
