It is the government that is threatening free speech and the legal system by letting the people we have allowed into our country do whatever they want when they want. If things keep happening as they are we wont have a country that we can call our own. Dont people realise that the muslims are going to take over the world. I dont mean any harm to anyone but the writing is on the wall. I was in Spain a few weeks ago and went to the Valencian fiesta which celebrated the christians and moors. It was a wonderful display and everyone had a great time. The next day in the newspapers the headlines read that the muslim community were offended by the celebrations and called for it to be banned. Who the hell do they think they are. If they dont like the ways and heritage of others countries they maybe they should think about staying in their own country.

Where were the BNP? Two of them were remanded in custody.
BNP man faces explosives charge

A former British National Party election candidate and a dentist have appeared in court accused of possessing an explosive substance.

Robert Cottage, 49, of Talbot Street, Colne, Lancashire, and David Jackson, 62, of Trent Road, Nelson, Lancashire, were charged under the Explosive Substances Act 1883 after chemical components were allegedly found at Cottage's house.

Cottage stood for the BNP in this year's local elections in Colne.

Both men were remanded in custody at Preston Crown Court. No application for bail was made for either man.

The case was adjourned until January 15, 2007 for a plea and case management hearing.

A provisional trial date has been set for February 12 at Manchester Crown Court. It will be held before a High Court judge and is expected to last one and a half weeks

Not there because it would have offended the Muslim community which made the whole thing pointless. However i really dont want to see the BNP voted in as its too extreme. There has got to be a way where everyone can live relatively peacefully which means the Muslim community must reign its war mongers in as well. By war mongers i mean 'hooky' and other extremists who should be deported. Funny how they managed to extradite the Enron officials but couldnt get rid of 'Hooky'

Because the BNP threaten free speech more.

A mosque was attacked near where I live last week thanks to Jack Straw's comments. The BNP has also been leafleting against this mosque locally in the past two weeks. Doesn't take a George Bush to put two and two together...

the BNP are not representative of anything, they are just scum.
the show was a pile of rubbish. they invited an equally split audience and, at the end, got an equally split vote.

muslims see anything that exposes their faults as an insult...so what's new.
you cant claim the women are mistreated because they choose to be mistreated by their religion.
you cant claim the koran incites violence, because there are other verses which dont incite violence

While there are still god botherers making claims and pulling strings on both sides of the fence, I do not expect any 'proper' debate on the muslim problem..............and yes, i do see muslims as a problem, along with all other extremist religions

They had the extreme muslim group their so why not an extreme group such as the BNP. Because even in a debate their worried about offending muslims. So yes they are threatening free speech.

I didn't. I don't watch Channel 4 when Monday Night Football is on.

Besides, left wing crap or not, they have the right to spew their stupidity.

It was pretty crap, im dubious about the audience poll at the end I mean was it really proportionate to the actual country at all. and the audience did my head in clapping everyone for everything i wanted to throw something at the telly.

I just remember that stupid, ignorant, middleclass christian woman in the audience, that completley ruined the entire debate with her "this is a Christian country" bullshit. God I wanted to slap her. Religion is a threat to freedom of speech. Ban all religion.
