It must have something to do with the texture of the peanuts vs. the peanut butter thing. I like salted peanuts, but I hate crunchy peanut butter (creamy is the best, in my opinion). The same thing with ketchup vs. tomatoes, some people don't like ketchup but love tomatoes and vise versa.

Actually, there is no peanut butter in Snickers, but I see your point. Personally, I enjoy both but I have a sister who likes Snickers and hates even the smell of peanut butter. She says it's a stickiness issue and the fact that the stuff seems to be waterproof.
Sometimes it's not the product, it's the form that it's in. For example, I love fresh stawberries but I don't like preserves, strawberry ice cream, frozen strawberries or any other variation. There's not really a reason, I just don't like them.

The first step to eating healthier is getting rid of the bad foods. Throw Any junkfood you have out of the house. If this seems to rash, then go throgutg the process gradually; each time you buy junkfood buy less and less until you get so accustomed to having a low intake of junkfood that you can do away with the nasty habit all toghether, and the junkfood that you do buy should be at least a bit healthy, like buying baked chips instead of your run-of-the-mill Lay's.. Also start a healthy work out regimen. If you are more athletic and healthier exercise-wise your body will crave less of the junkfood and more of what it needs to stay healthy and hydrated. The next step is get your body and more imporatantly your mind to crave the healthier foods and snacks. I will list a few alternatives to junkfood and healthier foods and snacks below. The trick isn't to not crave sugar, it's to crave the right type of sugar. What I mean by this is that when you. Crave sugar get that "sugar taste" from the right place, for instance a green apple, it's are crunchy juicy, sweet, tangy, and delicious. Another example would be a clementine, which is like an orange but smaller, seedless much, much juicier, and has more of that "citric taste" we all love. Some healthier alternatives to potato chips would be baked chips, ridge cakes (like those flavored rice cake chips from Quaker [I.e. Cheddar cheese flavored rice cake chips. Also instead of white bread try to start eating wheat bread, it might taste different but you will get used to it quickly. For sweets, the all-around best substitutes is fruits. Also try your hardest to stay away from any thing that has high fructose corn syrup and dye's in it. The dye's are the ingreients that list a color then a number.
