Those that love money: You cannot serve both God and money.
Those that love power and status: He who wishes to be great in the Kingdom of God must become the servant of all.
Religious Fundamentalists: Whatever you do just for man's praise you will not get a reward in heaven, but what you do in secret you will be rewarded for in full.

Those that love money MORE THAN THEY LOVE GOD are worshipping a false God.
Those that love power and status should not care so much for the opinions of men over the opinion of God.
Those that make up laws and rules that keep people from getting close to God are going to be judged for their pompous attitudes.

My religion expresses concern when a person steps over the line and becomes destructive over the love of money, power/status. You can love money, work yourself to death for it, but if you are cheating people out of their life savings in order to gain money, then sooner or later you will start losing out. You may lose your money... or your friends and family may leave you because of your actions. What goes around... comes around. Three-fold law basically... though I personally don't see it as just three-fold. It could be 100-fold... depends on the situation.

I have no sources as I'm an agnostic who pretty much goes by the policy of live and let live. However, I also believe we reap what we sow, so in doing so we have to be careful about the seeds we plant.

From the Quran:
Give unto orphans their wealth. Exchange not the good for the bad (in your management thereof) nor absorb their wealth into your own wealth. Lo! that would be a great sin.
( سÙرة اÙÙساء , An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #2)
Who hoard their wealth and enjoin avarice on others, and hide that which Allah hath bestowed upon them of His bounty. For disbelievers We prepare a shameful doom;
( سÙرة اÙÙساء , An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #37)
And (also) those who spend their wealth in order to be seen of men, and believe not in Allah nor the Last Day. Whoso taketh Satan for a comrade, a bad comrade hath he.
( سÙرة اÙÙساء , An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #38)
wealth and children are an ornament of the life of the world. But the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better in respect of hope.
( سÙرة اÙÙÙÙ , Al-Kahf, Chapter #18, Verse #46)
And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent.
( سÙرة اÙعادÙات , Al-Adiyat, Chapter #100, Verse #8)
There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is henceforth distinct from error. And he who rejecteth false deities and believeth in Allah hath grasped a firm handhold which will never break. Allah is Hearer, Knower.
( سÙرة اÙبÙرة , Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #256)
O People of the Scripture! Do not exaggerate in your religion nor utter aught concerning Allah save the truth. The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, was only a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him. So believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not "Three" - Cease! (it is) better for you! - Allah is only One Allah. Far is it removed from His Transcendent Majesty that He should have a son. His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is sufficient as Defender.
( سÙرة اÙÙساء , An-Nisa, Chapter #4, Verse #171)
Say: O People of the Scripture! Stress not in your religion other than the truth, and follow not the vain desires of folk who erred of old and led many astray, and erred from a plain road.
( سÙرة اÙÙ
ائدة , Al-Maeda, Chapter #5, Verse #77)
Allah forbiddeth you not those who warred not against you on account of religion and drove you not out from your homes, that ye should show them kindness and deal justly with them. Lo! Allah loveth the just dealers.

Those who love money:
Mat 19:20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
Mat 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
Mat 19:22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
Mat 19:23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
Mat 19:25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?
Mat 19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.
Love of Power and Status:
Phi 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.
Phi 2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.
Phi 2:4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.
Phi 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Phi 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
Phi 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
Phi 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Phi 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
Phi 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
Phi 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Religious fundamentalists and the Pharisees are different. Religious Fundamentalist believes in strict adherence to the tenets of their faith. The Pharisees on the other hand add requirements for holiness to the scriptures.
Pharisees:
Deu 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
Mat 15:1 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
Mat 15:2 Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
Mat 15:3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
Fundamentalist:
Mat 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
Mat 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Mat 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Luk 11:28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
