There's nothing wrong with having imaginery friends. It's just a way for the child to keep him/her happy and to have some-one to play with and share secrets with.

No doubt about that the children's are in real sense imaginary friends and they are like a part of the body of parents. The parents gifted with parents are very lucky as they are carrying about their duties to deliver to the humanity and society a good human beings that's how the development and spiritual growth comes in and plays its role.

I don't think they're anything to worry about. Your child is probably an introvert (like me! :)) .. it's very common for introverts to have imaginary friends..
I too had an imaginary friend when i was a kid, and I've turned out fine! :)
This is an excerpt from the link below:

"... What happened to us as children when we failed to meet every single criterion called “normal”? What happened to us when our natural preferences -- things like staring out the window, sitting at the computer, playing with imaginary friends, collecting stamps or writing in a diary – were ridiculed and despised? This is stressful and our self esteem suffers. I get letters every day from introverts who say they never felt “ok” before..."

Actually this is a very normal thing for children to have. When I was a child I had lots of imaginary friends and boy! did I enjoy playing with them! Today I'm a writer. So, perhaps this was where it began?

all kids have imaginary friends it is part of their development, When you have a meeting or a work thing to do do you not practice meeting that person and what you are going to say and how it will go? Kids do the same thing just with a bit more flair. They usually go away at around 7. I used to have to make a dinner plate for my sons "friend"

Don't sweat them. They'll go away about the time the child hits school.
It's good for children to have someone they can trust with their secrets (parents & God don't usually count).
I've found (not just with my own) that it's best to play along. Sometimes it helps to treat the imaginary ones as real people (what do you think Molly should do when you hog the remote?).

kids are fine, with make believe. It's when they grow up, and believe in an imaginary god that things start to go haywire.

I don't know if they are real or not.
My eldest son played with an imaginary friend for years, he called him Zabbin.
At about the age of 4, his imaginary friend just disappeared.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
It does matter.
Much occultic activity can originate at adolescent years.
Being coditioned to accept a false reality, RATHER THAN GO TO THEIR PARENTS IN THIS EXAMPLE FOR COMFORT AND CARE...IS SELF DESTRUCTIVE.
What is transpiring is a contacting of the "spirit realm".
Schools literally are teaching this newage thinking.
Being out of touch OF REALITY, AND IN TOUCH WITH OTHER VOICES AND SUCH.
ANYWAYS....IF ITS YOUR KIDS, OR FRIENDS YOU SHOULD STUDY UP AND THE REALM OF THE DEMONIC.......that is to say-this is what the little kids are being indoctrinated to accept slowly. Godbless you as you seek the truth.
HARRY POTTER AND OTHER "KIDS" THINGS, ARE DRESS REHEARSALS FOR THE REAL THING.
