My problem w/my Staffie/Pit (10 months) mix is the change in weather. It turned cold here so suddenly that he just doesn't want to go outside! I have to go out with him and actually watch to make sure he goes... he usually just sits at my feet and cries to go in... I'm trying to convert one of my kids old sweatshirts but its not working....

She could have an infection and may need a course of medication, if you are on benefits or anything take her to a PDSA vet they will help out with the costs. My staffy had to have some tablets for an allergy and he had an injection too the total cost was £40 so its not that exspensive or pay in installments. Hope she gets better soon :o)

Hi,
She's still quite young to be on her 3rd season.
I would take her to the vets for a check, she could have a water infection, like some of the others have mentioned.
Some b*tchs do pass more urine when they are in season, keep an eye on her and makes sure she isn't straining and passing small amounts which could indicate cystitis.

Your "dog" could have a urinary tract infection, as all the female parts are close together it would be easy for an infection to pass from one area to another. When ours came into season and had the same problem we took her to the vets and they gave her antibiotics which cured the problem in a couple of days

I honestly have accomplished it. greater effective than as quickly as. Ashley and me take Launi and Maverick. The canines park we frequented had a competent form of Pits. all the Pit people sat jointly and knew one yet another. no longer a sort of canines have been risky. nicely behaved, enjoyed to play with any canines and almost all of them had damned stable *come*. Launi grew to become into great. She stayed interior a lifelike distance, favored to play with canines her length or smaller. The Golden grew to become right into a hassle maker so she did no longer get to pass all the time. i pass into canines parks armed with leashes, and particular collars. Now the reason we stopped going grew to become into an abundance rather controlling German Shepherds. Which the ignorant vendors ought to no longer cope with. relatively all the Pit people left the park. I have no thought the place they pass now. anybody immediately assumes ANY Pit will tutor it extremely is canines aggression whilst off leash between different canines. the subject is, if the animal is unquestionably experienced and has sturdy genetics there is not any clarification for *combating*. they could lots extremely play. yet on a similar token, a nicely experienced, mentally stable Pit won't initiate a combat. yet neither will it pass into opposite. So, the Pit people left via fact the German Shepherds will too risky, no longer experienced and if between the confronted a Pit with the belief of showing dominance and choosing a combat, it could continually be the Pit's fault and the GS would be darned fortunate to get out of it alive.

Sorry girl i have never heard of that happening before to not only your kinna dog any dog. It sounds like maybe she could have a infection and just can't control it right now. Take her to the vet better on the safe side. Good Luck to you and your dog

I would advise you take her to see your vet.

has her daily routine altered?, water intake, diffreent food etc...

If you haven't had her spayed I would suggest that you see a vet asap! Unneutered bitches can develop a pyo - infected uterus - very common, very serious.

She could just have a urine infection - but this is still serious and will need to be treated by your vet

Please take her to a vet if you are unsure - usually the earlier you spot a problem the easier and cheaper it is to fix!

She is in a constantly excitable condition, this in conjunction with her instinct to communicate her condition to every other dog in the universe, leaving her in the quandary of displeasing you by breaking her training. She is confused and her seasons get more powerful with age. All you can do is give her the chance to re leave herself at every scarce safe opportunity, early mornings & late nights, praising her good behavior and showing mild patient displeasure with the unfavorable aspect, Staffs love to please thier owners good luck.

NO!! Dogs always push their luck, if you dont nip it in the bud now, (sounds a bit late now though), she will ALWAYS do this. You have to physically hit her HARD for her to understand its wrong. Dogs might be clever, but they aint that clever, you have to show them who is boss, dont let her walk all over you. She is being lazy OR you are by not taking her to walk.
